2009 Band Submission Info

Thank you for your interest in The 6th Annual Rock N Resort Music Festival, July 16-19. We are currently accepting performer applications for tribute bands, independent recording artists, solo artists and performance artists.
Please review the information below and complete the form to be considered for performing at this year's event by 03-31-09.
Performance Overview
Rock N Resort will be hosting regional bands and artists on one of our performance stages in either the festival grounds or the water park.
All regional performer submissions will be reviewed and selected by our entertainment committee. Bands and artists are selected on a non-paid basis, though we do offer a very comprehensive performer benefits package (see below for details).
Performer Requirements
Final selection of bands and artists will be determined by the following criteria:
- You must be able to supply your own backline equipment (drum set will be supplied)
- Your performance can not include obscene or offensive material or acts.
- You must be available to perform during the festival dates listed.
Performer Benefits Package Details:
If selected, your promotion compensation package will include:
1) Stage Passes and Complimentary Tickets
You will receive one (1) performer pass and one (1) complimentary guest ticket, per performer (good for the date of your performance). You will also receive two (2) crew passes to be used by agents/ managers and/or personal crew members.
2) Customized Marketing Materials and Internet Promotions
Our in-house production staff will provide you with a customized flyer promoting your appearance at Rock N Resort including this year’s headliner artists, your promotional photo, group / artist name, stage and a personal promotional code. Additionally, all artists’ names will be listed on our festival t-shirts.
3) Promotional Code for Discounted Tickets
As mentioned above, your customized marketing materials will include a personal promotional code. Your personal promotional code will provide a 10% discount on tickets purchased by fans, friends and family. This code must be entered when purchasing tickets or camping packages via our online catalog or by phone.
4) CD/DVD and Merchandise Sales
Rock N Resort will also allow you to sell CD/DVDs and other merchandise from near your performance stage during the day of your show. These sales will not be subjected to vendor fees or commissions collected by the festival.
5) Promotional Web Page on ClaysParkRocks.com and Myspace Friends Listing
With over 15,000 hits per month to our website, you will be listed in our online schedule with links to a personal web page on our site. Your personal page will include a promotional photo or logo, promo video or music and a brief bio.
6) Discounts on Festival Tickets and Camping
If you would like to stay to enjoy the entire festival with us, we offer the option to purchase 3-day festival tickets or camping packages at a 50% discount off of current festival camping rates.
7) Sound, Lighting and Production Crew
Rock N Resort will provide complete sound, lighting and crew for your performance. However, you are responsible to provide your own backline (amps, instruments, etc.)
